Finding a good Realtor can be unavoidably hit or miss, and seven years ago, without any connections or guidance, I took a chance on Alex Goldfarb through the casual recommendation of a friend. Since then, I have twice sold and twice purchased homes with Alex as my agent, and I couldn't speak more  highly of him, both as a professional, and a person. From the start, Alex was an excellent listener who adeptly assessed and understood my needs. He ambitiously and carefully researched listings, and was uncommonly flexible in finding the time to show them to me. As a young and single first-time homebuyer, I was unsure of the process, but Alex responded to my inexperience with respect. I grew increasingly confident as he patiently welcomed and thoroughly addressed my MANY questions.  Alex repeatedly asserted an in-depth knowledge of housing construction, as well as a remarkable aesthetic sense of space. His keen eye for structural flaws saved my now-husband and I from making unwise buying decisions, and his smart observations and specific suggestions on everything from floor plans to neighborhood features helped us find just the right property for our new life together. Prior to purchasing our current home, Alex was invaluable in helping us update, list, and negotiate the sales of each of our individual houses. His ability to strategize and prioritize, his insightful recommendations, and his familiarity with a network of quality referrals made an otherwise overwhelming and expensive process manageable and affordable. His unexpected kindness and willingness to help during a winter emergency only reinforced my impressions of his good character. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I feel compelled. To those now in the same position of picking a Realtor at random, rest assured that you will gain a compassionate, tactful, intelligent, hard-working ally in choosing Alex.

Alex is awesome. He went out of his way to help us - looking/evaluating all the neighborhoods (we were newcomers to Minneapolis), checking out countless houses, and even found us find short-term housing with the most awesome landlord in a great neighborhood.
